Initial 12mth contract to commence ASAP with possible extension paying from $1,000/day Brisbane City Fringe Location with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week Demonstrated recent ability to successfully deliver ICT Projects in a large, complex environment within a governance framework Our client, a large reputable complex organisation, are currently seeking a Project Manager for an initial 12 mth contract for a system implementation project. The Project Manager will be responsible for: Leading a project team to meet project deliverables, objectives and stakeholder expectations Preparing key project artefacts in accordance with the governance and framework requirements. g. stakeholder management, resource management, task allocation, reporting, project board requirements, and change management plans and strategies. Developing and executing activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. Proactively monitoring, managing and reporting on execution of project deliverables. Communicating effectively using multiple methods (verbal, written and nonverbal) and channels with stakeholders, including team and sponsors across multiple aspects of the project. Actively managing the current integrated project schedule ensuring appropriate change management activities are undertaken to enable a smooth transition to BAU. Skills and experience required: Demonstrated recent ability to successfully deliver application Projects in a large, complex environment within a governance framework Demonstrated experience in managing projects using a hybrid Waterfall/Agile/Prince2 implementation methodologies. Proven ability to coach and guide stakeholders in Agile practices and principles to facilitate successful project outcomes. Strong capability in maintaining tight governance over Agile artefacts, ensuring alignment with project objectives and adherence to best practices.
